

JOSEPH L. BROWNLEE has been an Arizona Trial Attorney since 1972. As
President and Board of Director of the International Amusement and
Leisure Defense Association (IALDA), Mr. Brownlee's law practice is dedicated
to the representation of amusement parks, waterparks, family entertainment
centers, fairs, carnivals, batting cages, go-cart tracks, roller skating rinks and
other amusement and leisure attractions throughout Arizona. For a number
of years, Mr. Brownlee has been a national public speaker and faculty member at
the International Association of Amusement Park Attractions (IAAPA), World Waterpark Association Symposium (WWA), Fun Expo of the International Association for the Leisure & Entertainment Industry (IALEI), Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers International (AIMS) and Roller Skating Association (RSA). As such, Mr. Brownlee is a frequent lecturer in the amusement industry areas of risk management, safety, maintenance, and legal defense.
Mr. Brownlee has tried numerous Jury Trials throughout Arizona in State and Federal Courts as well as Federal and State Appellate Courts. Mr. Brownlee graduated from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana and in 1980 was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Brownlee is a member of international IALDA, IALEI, RSA, WWA, OABA and IAAPA. In Arizona, Mr. Brownlee is General Legal Counsel for the Maricopa County Fair, and Member of the Arizona Fairs Association and General Legal Counsel for the Arizona Showman's Association.
